My curiosity about how people in the past, lived, explored and adapted is long standing.

I find great satisfaction in discovering through research these stories and sharing them through writing and photography.

I see great value in sustaining the built environment, where appropriate, through the conservation of historic structures, materials and landscapes.

I believe by maintaining a physical link to the past people today can gain a greater understanding of why the world works the way it does.
